Victoria’s Secret Creates ‘Bombshells’ Day’ To Promote Fragrance

The brand is set to debut International Bombshell Day the first Saturday in May.

Victoria’s Secret has come up with a creative way to promote its Bombshell fragrance – by inventing a new holiday. The brand will debut International Bombshells’ Day this May, which will be the first Saturday of the month, May 2nd, 2015. 

What does it mean? Victoria’s Secret is encouraging women to treat themselves like the bombshells they are, and hang out with girlfriends to feel spoiled all day. Of course, the brand hopes that means hanging out at one of its stores, which will feature exclusive discounts and limited time offers to entice shoppers. 

In case the brand’s fans need more of an incentive to visit a store, VS Angel Adriana Lima will be making a surprise appearance at a Victoria’s Secret store somewhere in the U.,S., but the brand won’t disclose the location. 

Another Angel, Candace Swanepoel, is in charge of the pre-event festivities. She will be making a few in-store appearances to sign autographs on April 30th, at Northpark Victoria’s Secret store in Dallas, Texas and the North East Mall Victoria’s Secret store in Fort Worth, Texas.
